Concealed Weapons Permit Class

Sled Approved CWP classes will be held on the following Saturday’s of each month.  The total cost of the class is $100.00.  You may reserve a seat in any class with a $50.00 deposit – balance due on the day of the class.  We will provide you with a firearm and ammo.  The class will consist of a study of the law, concealment, and use of lethal force.  The range work will be done on site.  Class will begin promptly at 8:00 AM and be concluded at the end of the day.

Students are encouraged to bring a lunch!

Bill Roberts will instruct at this class.  His background includes Law Enforcement and Licensed Private Investigator.  Mr. Roberts has owned and operated Servatis Firearms Training Center, Inc. as well as ASC, Inc. in the Upstate area for over 10 years.  He has conducted numerous training classes including “use of force”, Improvised weapons, Concealed Carry, and weapons retention to list a few.

Hearing and eye protection will be needed while on the range or in the range area.  Training class will be held inside while the range work will be on an outdoor range.  Class participates are encouraged to dress for the weather.  No open toe shoes are allowed on the range, as hot brass may land on the foot.
Safety is our main concern at the range. There are no firearms allowed in the range room at anytime.  All range rules will apply.   You are responsible for firearms safety.

Driving directions to the range

Take Highway 85 to the August Rd. Exit. This is  Highway 25. Go south on US 25. Go straight about 22 miles, to the Hot Spot Truck stop in Honea Path. It is on the right on US 25. We will meet there between 7:30 and 8:00 AM.
If you have a problem locating us on class day, call Bill at 449-8882. If you are running late, and are on the way, call before 8:00 AM. After 8:00 AM you may not be able to reach us.
